Here at Tayden Design, we have been developing unique Model Railroading Digital Command Control (DCC) software over the last 5 years. The main objective of the software is to provide an easy DCC control environment. This software’s main purpose is to digitally control the layout manually.

Train Trek Intelligence - Expert Engineer™ was developed especially for Marklin Digital system. It exclusively supports Marklin Digital system and enables the user to utilize all of its features. The software includes a user friendly Graphical User Interface to easily control all features like Engines, Turnouts and accessories. 

Expert Engineer™ provides an entire world of possibilities. Users have all the freedom to operate Trains, Turnouts and Accessories directly from the main panel. In addition, Expert Engineer™ includes a new feature: Function Decoders. Now, users may activate function decoders directly. For Example, Marklin's BigBoy locomotive is equipped with a Functions Decoder for sound effects. With this new feature of Expert Engineer™ users can simply open the 'Function Decoder' panel and control the BigBoy's sound effects with few clicks of a button. 

Before running your digital layout you need to setup the communication protocol between Expert Engineer™ and Marklin interface (6051). Expert Engineer™ is equipped with an automatic communication setup utility that already comes pre-set for Marklin Digital Interface unit (6051). All you need to do is to setup the PORT.

Complete Manual Control – User will be able to manually control all layout operations using knobs, switches, sliders and buttons. User will also be able to accelerate/decelerate their engines/trains, control turn functions (Lights, Smoke, etc’), switch turnouts and control accessories. Expert Engineer™ offers an easy and quick way to control your turnouts!

Expert Engineer™ is equipped with an Accessory or Function Decoder control panel. Using this panel, the user may control accessories and function decoders directly. For example: Accessories may include Turntables, Dancing cars, Cranes or any other devices that are controlled by Digital decoders. Function decoders may be in Dancing cars, engine's sound effects and similar devices. 

The Function Decoder Panel is aimed to activate the FOUR FUNCTIONS on the 6021 Central Control. Simply type the Decoder Name in the corresponding field and its digital address (Code).

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is introduced to Model Railroading
