Train Trek™ Intelligence new version 7.0.5 is now available! Train Trek™ Intelligence is an advanced DCC control software, especially designed for Marklin Digital system.

Here at Tayden Design, we have been developing unique Model Railroading Digital Command Control (DCC) software over the last 5 years. The main objective of the software is to provide an easy DCC control environment. This software’s main purpose is to digitally control the layout manually.

Train Trek™ Intelligence was developed especially for Marklin Digital system. It exclusively supports Marklin Digital system and enables the user to utilize all of it's features. The software includes a user friendly Graphical User Interface to easily control all features like Engines, Turnouts and accessories.

Train Trek™ Intelligence includes the following features:

Complete Manual Control – User will be able to fully manually control all layout operations using knobs, switches, sliders and buttons. User will also be able to accelerate/decelerate their engines/trains, control turn functions (Lights, Smoke, etc’), switch turnouts and control accessories. It’s a whole world of difference controlling the layout directly from the computer screen with a few clicks.

Using an advanced yet easy for use and mainly intuitive control panel, Train Trek Intelligence offers three (3) control methods for the user’s choice.

Option 1: Single Control: Control one engine independently. Run your train around the layout, turning functions on/off. This option also provides a turnout control feature to navigate your train. You will be able to control ten (10) turnouts within the layout.

Option 2: Multi Control: Here, Train Trek™ Intelligence provides the user with a full control panel to control up to ten (10) engines/trains at the same time. Each engine/train can be individually controlled to its full capability including the activation of functions and features. This option also provides a turnout control feature to navigate your train. You will be able to control fifteen (15) turnouts within the layout.

Option 3: Expert Engineer™: Here, the user may open individual controllers for engines/trains and turnouts/accessories. There are no limitations for number of controllers that can be used. It is the user’s responsibility to work with the number of controllers that fit the DCC based layout and his/hers capabilities.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is introduced to Model Railroading

Artificial Intelligence (AI) based layout control: Train Trek™ Intelligence provides advanced AI capabilities. Enjoy the fun of running your layout via computer while Train Trek™ Intelligence AI engine is constantly monitoring all layout activities in real time!

As the program operates; it keeps the information in its database for future use. The next time a similar event occurs, Train Trek™ Intelligence may alert for the situation. The basic idea was to create an entire computerized environment that can be different from the software that exists today, a system that learns. A system that will be interactively involved with the daily operation of the layout, watch it, study its characteristics and make its own conclusions for the future. We envisioned a system that will be intelligent and advanced, yet user friendly. This program is for beginners as well as experienced railroaders, not just for the programmers or the not so technically minded audience.

Although Train Trek™ Intelligence is an advanced DCC software system, we designed it to be very easy for use, mainly intuitive! No programming experience needed. The software includes an on-line tutorial and a ‘Quick to Get You Started’ manual for quick training.

Train Trek™ Intelligence will be available in November 2002. The software is compatible with MS Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP and especially designed for Marklin Digital system.
